On a Friday or Saturday Plaza Mahou runs to midnight, and Starbucks to 11pm. On a Sunday night Arzábal has shut at 6pm, so the realistic late table is Puerta 57. None of the four sit-down venues publishes a match-day timetable, which is why booking and confirming the same day beats turning up.

- Puerta 57, entered from Calle del Padre Damián at Gate 45, is according to Real Madrid the first stadium restaurant in Spain with pitch views, and cooks traditional Spanish food. It opens 12.15pm to 11.30pm every day, with breakfast from 9am to midday on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Pick it for a long family lunch, or on a Monday.
- Arzábal Bernabéu, entered from Calle de Rafael Salgado at Gate 28, pairs a gastro bar and private rooms with a 50-metre glass wall onto the pitch, and cooks modern Spanish food. It opens 11am to midnight Tuesday to Saturday and 11am to 6pm on Sunday, and it is closed on Mondays. Pick it for a late dinner.

What if I just want a quick bite on tour day?
The Bernabéu Market suits a group that cannot agree: octopus at A Feira Pulpería, rice at Escudellar Arroces, burgers at Manteca Burgers, pasta at Beata Pasta, oysters at Huitres Sorlut and ice cream at Gelateria 1880. The central food area runs midday to midnight, the entrance area serves coffee from 8am, and there is no booking, much like Madrid’s food halls.
Plaza Mahou at Gate 54 is the stadium’s own brewery, with tastings and food pairings. Starbucks Bernabéu at Gate 73 opens at 8.30am, useful before an early Bernabeu stadium tour.
Is there anywhere across the street before the match?
Yes, and it is the one option that ignores the Market’s cut-off. José Luis at Calle de Rafael Salgado 11 sits opposite the stadium, about 375 metres on foot from Arzábal, and serves pintxos and Basque, international and creative dishes, with covered, heated terraces. It does not publish opening hours online, so phone ahead on a match day.
What is different from eating out at home?

How do I get there from the airport or the centre?
Santiago Bernabéu station on Metro Line 10 is closed because the line is cut between Cuzco and Nuevos Ministerios until the end of 2026. From the airport, Metro Line 8 runs straight to Nuevos Ministerios, about 930 metres on foot from the Market, and an airport ticket carries a €3 supplement explained in the airport Metro supplement. Cuzco is closer to Arzábal, about 595 metres. EMT bus S10, which runs up the Castellana with a stop by the stadium, is free for Metro passengers.
