Four separate tickets would cost 12 € and the pass brings them to 8 €; eight would cost 24 € and the pass brings them to 16 €. Both land at two thirds of the single-ticket price, with conditions confirmed at the desk. The group regime is in Madrid state museums at 3 €.
Two timetables, two hours apart
The season changes the weekday closing time, which decides whether it fits after lunch.

Sunday does not move: five hours all year. One detail shortens the real visit, because the rooms start clearing 15 minutes before closing, so in winter you need to be inside before 6.15pm.
When it is free outside the summer
Its free calendar resembles the group’s, with more marked dates than usually get quoted.
It is free on Saturdays from 2pm and on Sundays, plus the International Day of Monuments and Sites, 12 October and 6 December. That calendar is not shared across the group: the Cerralbo Museum opens free on Thursday evenings and Sundays rather than Saturday afternoons, in Cerralbo Museum hours and free entry.

Every Monday, 1 and 6 January, 1 and 15 May, and 24, 25 and 31 December. The 15 May closure falls on San Isidro, Madrid’s local holiday and one of the busiest days in the city’s calendar.
There is no decision to make about the 3 € this summer, because until the end of August it does not charge them.
